Great news today on ohiobobcat.com. Tall guards recruited as incoming freshmen for 2014/2015. Very positive article. Sound like class recruits! Welcome to OHIO! .

I know that we need some sure 3ball shooters, but to me our biggest need is a lock down defender at guard.

I just knew these two recruits would fit in well at OHIO. I don't know if Ryan Taylor's performance in the opener shows him to be a "lock down" defensive guard, but he certainly convinced me and many others that his skills go well beyond just scoring and hitting treys. And he did score well for his first outing! Props to Coach Saul for bringing these two here, and for showing his belief in their abilities by getting them off to such a good start. Starting to get very excited about this team's chances. Go Bobcats! Beat FGCU!

The interesting thing to me about Taylor on Saturday is that he just looked so smooth, both on D, and driving into the lane hitting a floater. I was impressed.

I remember from open gym and pre canada practice that Laster was the one Tommy seemed to really like out of the incoming guys.
