Since Borna hasn't gotten to bringing this up yet, I'll get a little started.
I'm watching a good one in OT betw ND and MSU. ND is better than I thought they'd be tonight. Looks like they may take control of this one to the end. This Jeron Grant for ND has been fantastic.
I've also been surprised by Iowa tonight at UNC. I figured this one would end up running away with it.
Finally, on CBSSN, four of the Philly Big 5 are playing/have played. Oddly, they aren't playing at the Palestra, where I thought they usually played each other for those specific games.

Iowa has some very talented players but they haven't always been able to play consistently at a high level for 40 minutes. I think their guard play is their biggest question mark but Gesell played one of his best games as a Hawkeye tonight and played a big part in the upset.
Now on to the main event....really looking forward to the Okafor/Kaminsky match up. Should be a good one.

Wichita also gets a good test tonight going to Salt Lake City to face #25 Utah (ESPN2 @ 11pm).

MAC implosion tour continues tonight going 1-4. MAC started 38-15 or thereabouts but I'm beginning to wonder if the league will finish above .500.

Mich State hung in a tough environment. Interesting with Linda on the commentary.
Rewatched the Jimmy V ESPY speech tonite . Never fails to bring tears and reflection. Life is good. Jimmy V is a treat every time I watch him.
Back to ball. Kohl Center is a place I would hate to play. Jackson kid has some wicked handles.
Spent time with the wife tonite so Hoops got back burner. She went to bed so I am back to regularly scheduled games.
Thanks for starting the thread.

Caught bits of the Toledo/Cleveland State game. Seems like the Rockets had that one in the books for most of the 2nd half. It was sloppy from what I watched.

Utah/Wichita St was a classic finish. Wichita St erased something like an 8 pt lead in the blink of an eye.
Their first regular season loss since March 2013.

100% Agreed. I usually DVR it and come back to it sometime in Feb or March.

Odds are I'm late to the deal, but I really like these Daily Checks of non-conference games. Know there are few of the national sites trying to cobble together a "What Happened Last Night" piece daily......my favorite one is at:

/
Also, while we're on it, Mark Titus from his stop at the Duke/UW game this week was very solid.
