BG @ Dayton....of course it is but it is still a good game...if we could get it.

Illinois at MSG vs Villanova. Experts going with the East Coast on this one.

Ewwweeeepewwweee @ X not much in the cupboard under new HC jason gardner

Mizzou KC @ Ia St. Hoibergs kids should kill thos one

EMU at (State of) Michigan Comin g off that NJIT loss I would expect EMU to have their work cut out

SD @ Creighton.

Thats a pretty good slate for my night.

Tommy got 10 of 11 right last night.....Brown killed him. TOugh game. last 2 minutes was brutal. Brown hit 15 or 16 straight FT's down the stretch. Lucky to get out with that one though. Can't get the ball inbounds to save their soul.

BG loses by 4, going 2 of 6 from the line while UD hits 21 of 29 foul shots.

Two things come to mind as I watch this EMU vs The State University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

1) The 2-3 Zone, with athletes that are long, is really damn tough. I frankly don't understand why with OUr roster over this and last season, why we haven't run it much more.

2) I actually feel sorry for these kids at EMU. They're pretty damn good this year, and probably only a couple hundred people on their whole campus even care.

Went to BG/UD game. Falcons played like they had a plan until last 5 minutes. Then they went all Louis Orr. BG was up 50-39 with 10:17 left. Flyers closed game with 17-2 run. Jehvon Clarke really hurt them with decision-making down the stretch. Really appreciate Holmes' athleticism.

Eagles players probably wish the trip home was longer than 10 minutes.

Watching Iowa vs. Alcorn State. Hawkeyes with comfortable lead. Impressed w/ the Braves' LeAntwan Luckett. He's got game and he's got name. #BucketByLuckett

I'm watching U of L vs IU. Louisville needs to work on foul shooting. Otherwise, they're a legit Top 5 team right now. Harrell is a real tough matchup in the paint.

Louisville is incredibly deep. Blackshear, Rozier, Jones, and Harrell who just might be the best player in the country.

I miss Glenn Bryant III.

I watched part of the Walsh vs. Michigan Tech game tonight. I think I saw Ruck in the gym there if I'm not mistaken.

MAC teams have to hope they don't catch EMU when they're shooting well. They will be really tough to beat.

BG scored 2pts in the final 10:17, lost by 4. Painful.

EMU should have walked home, just to make the trip home a little longer.

I believe I saw a box score from earlier this year where EMU had a home crowd under 200. Pathetic.

Well, at least some people were stoked about the win last night:

turned out to be a pretty good night.

EMU /Michigan was a game ....kept rooting and EMU coach was a classy interview after the game. BG and EMU are scary as a MAC opponent. They will expose out guards and our D. Write it down now take it out when we play them.

Ted I flipped on at 50-39 and told Laurie within seconds. .....BG is self destructing...... After we had been going back and forth between games I stayed there to watch,it was incredible to play by play see how they folded

Iowa State looking really complete. NIU transfer looks great as Hoiberg continues to meld miscreants and castaways that did not fit from many sources and make them part of a team and seemingly ...better humans.

Indiana was overmatched. As Crean went to the bench he found he is really short of basketball players.

Illinois played spectacularly over their heads for 32 plus minutes....then their weakness'showed and they folded against a legit and mybe underrated Villanova squad. Wldcats may be very good in the season. They continue to be a question come tourney time.

Wichita State turned fans out.....wow...a packed arena. Not sure how many of you have been to 'Ta but to fill that place vs the Hall on a Tuesday is insane. Shockers are good and getting better. Very impressive.

Creighton was close till they asserted their authority at about the 8 minute mark. CLose final but you could tell the Jays were in control

Baylor /A&M is a 100 year rivalry this year but the first since A&M left for the SEC. was a good game for a long time.

Popped in on X eweepuuuuweee. Jags got blown out. Reinforcements in the form of commits and transfers coming next year but jason got no horses to work with.

Eastern Michigan just beat Michigan in their own building. Can we maybe not make this about their attendance for once?

NJIT turned their win over Michigan into a sellout crowd that created the best buzz their basketball program has ever seen at a home basketball game....

http://nypost.com/2014/12/10/how-njit-backed-up-its-win-o.../
NJIT player on seeing the full house...

“I’ve never seen something like that,” Holiday, the senior forward, said. “It definitely motivated us. During my layups, I was like, ‘This is just an amazing feeling.’ ”

Can EMU do the same?
We can only hope.

Yeah, everybody wants to keep talking about how bad Eastern is and how bad their attendance is, and they go out and beat Michigan at Michigan.

Yes, they have an attendance problem and we're pretty good attendance wise, but that's not all that counts.

Speaking of Michigan, pretty good article here on Grantland about how they are using undervalued talent to build the program. Mention of Ohio and the LeVert situation and how everything happened.
