Unless an unlikely waiver is granted he is sitting out a year as required by transfer rules. At this point I have to assume that he and Simmons won't be available until next season.
I've assumed he's out for this year at this point.
What are the odds he gets a petitioned sixth year on the back end of his eligibility? If it's possible, then at this point getting him on the floor is a bit of a waste 1/3 of the way through the season.
