both wanna be #1 on this club .... come on guys , step up and be a team .... this team is capable of big things if they would play together .... come on bobcats , let us remember for something positive, not this .... bobcat basketball was here before you came to school and it will be here long after you leave !!

I'm not ready to place the entire blame on our seniors but I think there is a duality between the seniors and the rest of the team that is causing a lack of cohesiveness. I think the pressure the 3 seniors have put on themselves to go out with a bang has caused each of them, including Mo, to play outside of themselves. Mo is clearly trying to show NBA scouts that he can play both outside and inside, Bean just wants to shoot and not worry about running the point, and Stevie just wants to be a hero. And none of it is going like they want it to.

I think their intentions come from a good place, its doesn't look like selfishness or greed or ego, its not like an AB situation, I just think they are good kids trying way too hard to have the best senior year ever. And I think its causing a riff with the rest of the team because they're trying to build something for the long haul and are more patient, but seeing their senior leaders continue to cost them games has to be frustrating. And in some ways this is what Saul should expect after continuously saying he's here for the long haul and wants to build something.. but also wants to give the seniors a good final year, almost as an afterthought.

Laster, RTaylor and Campbell need to take over the leadership of this team from Willis, STaylor, and NDour and do it in a way that doesn't fracture the whole team. Very tough thing to do for two freshmen and a sophomore.

i think the biggest issue is Bean and SP. Just watch SP after any Bean TO, Bean freeze/glue shoes getting burned by opposing guards on D, early clock 3 jack, pick up dribble for no reason, etc.......

If that's true, it's addition by subtraction. I don't anticipate Antonio Campbell being on this team next year, either, based on the body language I've seen in webcasts and, yesterday (egads), in person at BGSU. He clearly doesn't want to be here.

Daggone it SBH, you were at BG yesterday? That's why Ohio got beat. Ohio never wins, football or basketball, at BG with SBH in attendance. Dating back 3 decades.

guys, a "gone" at 3am on a saturday night in Athens can mean A LOT of things. below that tweet are a dozen tweets referencing putting in work and "I might sleep in the gym", etc. Besides, where is a 25yr old 5th year senior gonna go? Its more likely, based on the previosu tweets, that the "gone" tweet came from a late night practice session. And Campbell leaving? C'mon, y'all need to chill out a bit. These guys are frustrated but they're not straight up quitters.

Jacking up a 3 with almost a full shot clock at the end of the half giving them about 25 seconds to score tells us a lot about Bean's approach to the game.

I think it is in reference to this earlier tweet:

Javarez Bean Willis @BALL_LIF3 ยท 17h 17 hours ago
"All I know is get it til the work gone"

...so at 3 am the work was gone - I suspect. It seems to me that #3 is very determined to improve his game.

I took it to mean that he was "gone" from Twitter for the night and was not too happy with the exchanges he was having, though I did have trouble following exactly who was saying what to whom. For the record, I don't like anyone to use the "N word," even an African American. Yes, they have a right to use it, and I have right not to like it. It doesn't make me think more highly of him, that's for sure.

Maybe we should stop lurking on Twitter and let the guys figure it out. Now I'm gone.

Bean is a good dude who works hard. I hope he keeps getting after it this season because (IMO) he's one of our best players.

Running the offense, ball handling, and distribution unfortunately aren't his strengths, so hopefully he can improve a bit in those categories (with some help from his teammates and Stevie) and go on a shooting tear in March.
