I'm actually serious. The wife and I are going up with some BG friends of ours. I just wondering how many Columbus folks might make the drive.

Me.

I've been forgetting to wear my helmet lately.

I'll be there. I've heard from a few others on this board who said they were considering it.

I'm considering it, but last night's performance is making me queasy.

I was 100% in until last night. The idea of the on-court performance I saw yesterday combined with a trip to what feels like Antarctica now has me 100% out.

I'm somewhere in a sea of orange in 108. The weather forecast reminds me remember why Athens is better in the winter.

I was until last night. Wanted the see the Stroh Center and catch a hockey game afterwards. Seriously doubt it now.

If I don't go I'll feel like a fair-weather fan (literally) since I live only an hour away. But man, $60 for tickets alone for the family plus parking plus snack money. Probably will be at least a $100 evening to get frustrated (I hope I'm wrong).

I would go to a game no matter how bad we might be, as I live so far away from anywhere we play. Be happy if you live in the area.

Like several others - I was pretty sure I would be going - but after last night not sure. That's a long day driving up and back.

I'm with JSF in that we shouldn't let OUr record dictate whether or not we go. Easier said than done, yes, but we don't want to be seen like we see some other MAC fanbases, do we?

The way I look at it, every Saturday game I can go to is a good excuse to get up early, get to campus (be it Athens, BG, or like last Saturday, Dayton) and have some lunch with adult sodas while hanging out and watching other games on TV. This weekend is no exception, and the 4pm tip makes it rather perfect to do so. We'll be hitting up Myles or another lunch spot, and then I hope City Tap beforehand.

If my wife is up for it I may take her and my increasingly low expectations. My wife is a craft beer lover and a fan of Reverend's, which may be incentive enough for her to slog out to Siberia to watch a likely loss.

Have not been to see B.G's new arena, so think I will make the trip to support the Bobcats ! It looks like the Falcons are fired up and playing hard for their new coach so it will be a competitive game for sure. Go Cats !

For those that haven't been, I'm interested to hear your feedback following the game. I went up a couple years ago.

Thanks for the clue on hitting Reverend's. I'll have to check that out also.

I was actually referring to taking for granted being able to watch the team.

Not going this year. Have been to BG for Ohio game many times as I am a BG alum also. I have been to the Stroh Center for a few games and cannot quite decide on the facility..Saw Bob Dylan up to the Stroh Center a year or so ago and would say that the place might be a better concert location than a basketball arena...I do like the beer option up in loft area on the home side. A place you can watch the game and have an adult beverage..Not sure how one gets there as I almost always go with a friend who takes me up there.

We don't have a lot of luck in BG but maybe this will be one of those head scratching games that makes us wonder which team will show up.

That continually thud sound you hear is a stream of Bobcats jumping off the bandwagon.

I misinterpreted, but I also mostly meant that part re: other fanbases as a joke. Personally, I'd go to a college hoops game about anywhere. It just happens that I'm still able to go to Athens frequently.

I'm on a 2 game winning streak watching us play at BG... Let's hope it's 3 after today's game.

Hanging with Eagle66 and a motley crew of loyal Bobcats. Let's go, Ohio!

OK - I'm in - Off to Siberia. We seem to have an up and down character - I think it could be an up day. I'll be there to chime in support with some added volume to the annoying to opponents crowds "O - H - I - O" and "OU - Oh Yeah" chants from the visiting side.

I am sorry that I went and have come to a conclusion no more trips. So disappointed to see a team mentally, physical failing, and quitting!!

Yep - long day for such a piss poor effort. I saw no effort. No fire. No leadership.
