I believe the contract allows for conference games to be sublicensed to regional sports networks such as TWC SportsChannel. Still, it's strange for TWC to pull a random weeknight game in the middle of the season. I'd have thought they'd get a whole package of games, but apparently not.
I think it has to do with the contract the MAC signed with TWC last season. Probably some kind of buyout. They used the TWC feed on ESPN3.

Is the ESPN contract the reason we are not seeing more MAC games on TWC this year? I've really been missing it. I don't know exactly what to expect from teams this year at Cleveland because I haven't seen too many games.

I've said it in other threads: This is what we're going to deal with this year. We're either going to lay an egg like Eastern or we're going to be competitive but ultimately mediocre like Central and Northern or we're going to shock people. As good as Bean was I think Laster's seven points were huge, Ryan Taylor was great defensively and Tony's inside play really sets things up. Mo picked his spots and Stevie was under control while showing his electricity when needed. I hope we can keep momentum but I'm not letting myself get too excited until we win a couple in a row. Still a great win that I will celebrate until Eastern Michigan!!!

As most of us have come to realize this is a (for lack of better words) crappy season.
It is what it is!

A win is a win. A win against a MAC East opponent this season is icing on the cake.

Despite this being a crappy season I am fairly pleased.
As a Bobcat Fan I know that we have a strong program and this season is by far an exception.

I am very confident we will be sitting at the top of the conference very soon.

It could very well take a couple seasons, but I optimistically predict we will have a top four seed in the conference tournament next season.

The team bucked up at home to muster a win against our hated rival Akron!!!

The team may have a ton of deficiencies; one of them is not a lack of pride.

Now we just need to figure out a way to beat EMU in our house.

Anybody know the Convo records for three point field goal attempts and makes, total, for one game? And combined three point shooting percentage with over, say, 30 attempts? Did any records get set last night? Maybe bone headed plays in last minute?
