This was great for Xavier when their former AD Mike Bobinski was on the Committee. He was the chair position for a while I believe. Hopefully it does the same for Ohio. Winning helps and the MAC still needs to get stronger too though.

I'm excited to see complaints here about how the NCAA screws the MAC and mid-majors.

It's been a while since I thought the mac legitimately deserved multiple bids. But there have been a few screw jobs in the past so I guess this could help to avoid that.

This doesn't automatically mean bids for the MAC nor Ohio unfortunately. It helps to get the program name out there though, and show that we have an AD who really cares about basketball.

My guess is that there will be 96 reported teams in the tourney this year and only 68 will play.
