Ohio beats these guys as long as they defend them ok, and shot selection doesn't become desperate because they can't penetrate the zone. This is a game Stevie needs to emerge in by getting into the lane to create havoc, and then distributing the ball very well.

And good Lord, please make the layups they give you fellas.

It would be nice if we opened a can of whip-ass and beat them by thirty or forty.
But I would just be pleased with a win.

just for posterity sake and not to go all grammar police...but I keep seeing whip ass one and I think those using it are referring to whoop ass

It's nearly impossible to predict MAC games right now. The only result that would surprise me would be a blowout in Ohio's favor.

We are 1 point favorites. When was the last time a team was favored to beat a team that had beat them by 36 points just 11 days earlier?

Don't know, but that's part of why I worry about tomorrow. I feel OU has better talent and should win, but my lord, that was an epic defeat our guys had up north. The Kansas game a few years back is the only defeat of that magnitude in the last couple of decades.

I don't honestly feel we have better talent. I do think our guys are using their talent better so far this season.

I feel this is a "must win" for the program. If we can get revenge on them, that would be bitter sweet justice in my book.

That's a big win because I think EMU is going to be our biggest hurdle to getting a home game to start the MAC tournament. Remember, the bottom 4 teams have to start on the road.

Ohio...........4-6
Miami..........3-6
Northern Ill...3-6
Eastern Mich...3-7
Ball State.....2-8

Nice win. Avenges the disaster from the first meeting. Much better job. Team hit 80% from the line and that was the difference between winning and losing.

Bobcats have won 4 conferences games by a total of 15pts and have lost 6 conference games by a total of 83pts. Last 3 wins by a total of 6pts. We either barely win or we lose big.

Nice win. Bean looks like he's on track and Ndour & Campbell played super. Unlike the Akron game, this wasn't so much our inability to close it out as it was EMU having one hot player. A little surprised we didn't foul before they shot on their last possession to keep them from shooting a 3 but we played good, solid defense. Let's make it three straight Tuesday night.

Stevie played some blanket defense on their shooter that last ten seconds. Good stuff!

Great win after starting out stone cold!

After missing a ton of shots early I thought Bean played very well and did a nice job holding off towards the end of the game. Stevie did a nice job creating, playing solid defense on that last EMU possession, and hitting 5-6 from the stripe.

Productive minutes from Harley since RTaylor was in foul trouble all day. That jumper he created after a nice move was a nice sign of things to come.

The interior passing from Campbell (also his 12 rebs), N'Dour, and Setty was a huge key to beating their zone. Campbell also avoided foul trouble and played 38 mins.

Anybody know why Raven Lee didn't come into the game until under 5 min to go in first half? He hit one J then proceeded to pour in 31 in the second half. Unconscious and he was telling Bean, Harley and others all about it.

Thanks to everyone at the bobcat club who helped my daughter and I yesterday with the floor seats behind and basket. Thanks so much for picking me as fan of the game. The game sure looks a lot different from that close.

Wow... I really thought we played a great game. Great patience attacking the zone and working the baselines. Frankly, I thought our defense was as good a team effort add I've seen too. If Lee didn't go stratosphere in the second half, @ it would have looked better, but he just had himself a night. Unreal. Plus eastern did a masterful job extending the game. Aside from a few too many turns, it was a very good performance overall.

I appreciate my improper use of "whoop ass" being brought to the board's attention. I have been on a whoop ass kick as of late.

Deliberately using whip ass was a lame attempt to put my own Appalachian Urban twist on the phrase from the Urban Dictionary.

Nice win!!!

It's very clear that when someone opens up a can a "whoop ass", somebody else's ass is getting whipped.
