It's unreal how many bad shots Bean takes.. Sure, he hit them last night and it was all fun and games, but those shots haven't been falling very much this season.. I HATE his shot selection. It is selfish.

He's shooting 44% for the year and 40% on 3's. Sure he has some off nights, just as most everybody who plays ball. I'll gladly take a guy who hits 40% on 3's. And who led the team last night in scoring, rebounds and assists?

Maybe you missed Saul's post game comments saying Bean is playing out of position and if he was with a top PG he'd be dynamite or words to that effect

I used to marvel at how DJ would direct traffic between the circles. I think last night I remember seeing someone getting teammates in position just once, and it was one of the bigs.

Numbers are deceiving.. He's so good when he's on that it makes us forget about the bad games

Florida Gulf Coast: 1-6 from the 3
Belmont: 5-13 from the 3.. 10-19 overall.. Why shoot 13 3's when you're killing it going to the hole?
Alcorn state: 1-4 from the 3, 1-8 overall
George Washington: 3-8 from the 3, 3-11 overall
Nebraska: 4-12 overall
NIU: 1-8 from the 3
BGsucks: 0-6 from the 3, 1-8 overall
Kent State: 1-7 overall
Buffalo: 3-11 overall (TERRIBLE shots overshadowed by the win)
Eastern Michigan- 1-8 overall

It's not even the amount he shoots as it is the shots he takes..

Being selfish isn't always a bad thing. This team is not an offensive juggernaut, they need their best players (N'Dour and Bean) taking a lot of attempts. Bean's shot selection will certainly make you scratch your head but you can say the same for a lot of scorers.

It's clear that Bean needs to make things happen if this team is going to go anywhere, so I'm fine with him being aggressive especially if he's going to be attacking the rim like he did against Akron. Now THAT is something he could definitely do more often instead of just shooting 3s.
