I looked briefly at the Bradley board this evening and discovered that every other thread had a "fire Geno" focus or sub theme. One poster referred to the team as "the gang that can't shoot straight." [Could use that one for OHIO this year, but that's another issue]. It's clear if the fans have their way GenoBall won't be "playing in Peoria" after the end of this season. He appears to have dribbled himself into the corner and made a bad decision that can't be neutralized by calling a TO. ;-) Now, after trying to be cute, my question is this: if Geno gets canned and loses his income stream, will he still have to pay the $1.2 million judgement? Or, would this be considered some form of indentured servitude? We don't send people to debtor's prison anymore if they can't pay their debts, they just declare bankruptcy. I'm curious what the legal eagles on this forum think would happen in such a scenario.
[Sorry to channel Bob Haldeman twice in one post, but it may be in my genes . . . I can't help myself. ;-) Explanation for young whippersnappers: Bob Haldeman was fond of saying about a possible Nixon administration policy initiative "will it play in Peoria?" and he and Ehrlichman often talked about various "scenarios" or hypotheticals. I first heard the term "scenario" in the Watergate hearings when these two were testifying that some of their possibly incriminating statements caught on tape were nothing that they were actually going to do, they were just discussion possible scenarios in an abstract kind of way.]

Does he have a buyout at Bradley? Maybe that's where he would get the money.

He'll either have to pay or declare bankruptcy. Kent wants to garnish his wages; if they do, any buyout might go Kent's way.
