With Ohio’s MAC lead cut to 2 with their home loss on Wednesday, this became a huge game for the Zips as they looked to cut Ohio’s lead in half. But Ohio came to play, taking down the Zips handily 71-55.

And the true Ohio Black-out today wasn’t in the Convo but in Akron as Kiyanna Black, the only Ohio player in double digits, put on an offensive show. ‘Kron had no answer for KB, as she mixed up her inside/outside play, pouring in 18 1st half points and a total of 31 for the game. But on defense it was a dominant team effort, creating 23 turnovers,12 off steals, to completely frustrate the Zips offense. A fun game to watch if you were an Ohio fan.

Ladies go to 21-4, 12-2 in the MAC, extending their lead over ‘Kron to 3 games in the East and a 1 game lead over Ball State in the West.

Great performance by the Bobcats! Impressive bounce back from an "off" game vs EMU.

Yesssssssssss. Love the Blackout. I was very confident in this bounce-back, I really think this TEAM is special. Anybody else read Builder's comments after the loss? Couldn't ask for anything better, respectful and real.
