A well-coached, hard working Falcons team was simply no match for Ohio (24-4; 15-2) in their team dominating performance, 67-47. For a change, the Cats were not outsized, allowing their superior athleticism to create anticipation steals (Black), pick off rebounds when out-positioned (Lampkins), block shots ( Witherspoon), and keeping the ball alive when it shouldn’t be our possession (Baldwin). Scoring was well distributed and defense was successful at stopping many BG 1st play options.
The win gives Ohio its first MAC regular season title in 20 years.
A nice community crowd along with band members who stayed around after spring break to support the Cats.
Next Saturday at 2:00- it’s Miami in the last home game of the year.
