I'm thinking of doing something that I haven't done for many, many years -- attend a practice. Does anyone know the practice schedule and if all practices are open to the public? If I'm going to do this, I'll have to do it next week, as we aren't going to have many practices left. Thanks.

Glad I read that, I would have ended up at the field house.

The emails I get usually say, "Practices are open to the media." Practice today is 2:15-5. Haven't gotten notice beyond today.

I would say that OCF and JSF with over 5,000 posts qualify as media.

JSF has earned Ohio credentials for life. How? Dude was professional when Jason Grunkemeyer sat next to him on press row up at the Q during the MAC tourney. Nicely done, JSF, nicely done.

JSF should attend a UVA practice and write a story on the Pack-Line Defense that Tony Bennett uses from his days at Washington State coaching under his father Dick Bennett.

http://www.coachesclipboard.net/BasketballPackLineDefense...

Less than two weeks ago UVA had a close game at home against Wake Forest. Last night missing two starters due to injury UVA traveled to Wake Forest winning 70-34 inserting several freshman to fill in.

Wonder if Bennett and Saul know each other with their state of Wisconsin ties?

YOU mean the same Pack line defense that every player coming through here from 2008 to 2012 learned and became part of their DNA? We lived by it and defended the crap out of the arc with it. It got softened and subsequent players did not get the full immersion and principles. Not sure what Bennet and Saul have in common except they have both eaten and bathed in Madison.

I miss those days when it comes to DEFENSE, a few great shooters, and DJ Cooper passing.

I am a firm believer in the pack line defense, and Groce taught it very well.
