With just one MAC road loss this season, Ohio (24-4; 15-2), in their typical, lock-down, ‘contest all shots’ defense, create 25 turnovers in rolling the Flashes. Jasmine Witherspoon, in only 23 minutes, had12 boards, 4 steals and 3 blocks to lead the defense while the offense was led by Ohio’s only senior, Mariah Byard with 17 points. Kiyanna Black and Quiera Lampkins also scored in double digits while Ohio’s best-named player, Kat Yelle had 9 points and 3 assists. The Cats, 4th in the nation in 3 pointers, had 9 for the game.

The 'Road Kill Cats' return home to close out the regular season against Miami Saturday at 2:00 in the Convo.

I have watched more women's hoops this year that I have since 1988.

Unpopular Opinion Alert: I find the women's game exponentially more enjoyable to watch than the men's in its present state, and that doesn't just apply to OHIO men's hoops, but all D1, and NBA, for that matter.

It's a joy to see the energy and effort with which OUr team plays.
