Sorry to steal your thunder Ted, but I want on the bandwagon today!

Game start: 12 noon

Bobcats will have to bring the hustle today to help offset the size of the Bulls. If we get killed on the boards that will be a big factor. I predict the Builder will have our rested Bobcats ready to bring the energy, keep the rebounding margin close and the Bulls will fall.

Ohio 72 Buffalo 64

Go Bobcats!

I watched both regular season contests against the Bulls. Size mismatches be damned, we defended extremely well and we are clearly the better team. This should be a win.

Defense on both sides is excellent in this game. Cats up 4 with 7 to go.

That was not easy, but Ohio gets it done. UB's size did a lot to neutralize Lampkins' slashing, but Ohio got enough big plays from Byard, Baldwin, and Black plus played exceptionally clutch defense to pull out an 8 point win.

Cats win!

63-55

Bulls +4 on rebounds but +6 on turnovers and Cats hit their free throws down the stretch.

Close game throughout, Bobcats had to grind out the win without being hot from three.

63-55 First win in Cleveburg in a long time. Outside shooting was not good but withstood and advancing.

At 26-4, is Ohio now a bubble team for the NCAA Tourney or do they have to win the MAC Championship game to get in?

Great job by the Bobcats in winning points in the paint and withstanding a barrage of Beef threes. Weren't at their sharpest but they did enough clutch things down the stretch to win.

Proud to be a Bobcat!

My wife and I watched this game via TWC. I will have to say that the officials were just awful. Our gals got a mugging but kept on ticking, like the old Timex watch commercial used to say. These officials would look at a major league mugging right in front of their faces and keep their whistles in their pockets and then a few minutes later call a touch foul. I don't know that they were biased in this, but since xxxxxxNEW YORKxxxxx had the biggest players with the roughest styles of play they got away with a lot more of the hacking and shoving then we did. Nonetheless, it was a great win and I look forward to tomorrow's Championship Game! Go OHIO!
