Thought this was an interesting view on the ROI (or lack thereof) of some of the big spenders in hoops that didn't make the tourney. Of course many are playing in secondary tourneys, which I assume most here see as valuable as the plethora of "meaningless" bowl games in FB.

I'd consider the NIT as valuable as some of those bowl games, and maybe more so because its in primetime, IF the school is on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU for national television exposure.
CIT/CBI games really aren't valuable for anything other than the team itself and some of us fans who are interested.
