Ok, we were overmatched by a team competitive in the Pac 10, playing on their home court while our team had to travel a couple time zones. Their defense pretty much shut down our offense. Our defense played well.

Congratulations Mariah on a great senior season. We'll see everyone else back next year, plus 2 redshirts that can play the game, not to mention 5 solid recruits. We're loaded.

ASU barely escapes #11-seed Arkansas-Little Rock 57-54. UALR had a 3-pointer blocked at the buzzer that would have tied the game. ASU had a 24-8 run to end the game.

Were you there, Monroe? What was it like in the arena?

Anybody else who attended care to give a report?
I was there Jeff pretty good OHIO turn out for quick turnaround and distance. Team was ready and never quit. OUr shooting was just a little off and Arizona State at home didn't seem to miss . KB had foul trouble right away, Lexie fouled out early. Arizona depth hurt also.

110 was best band there. Overall the university was well represented.

David--Did you see the Curtain of Distraction (I think that's what they call it). Pretty funny. At least for a time or two.

For another good reason to be awfully proud and fond of this ladies team and the coaching staff, do you all know who Adyn Bucher is?
None of you picked up on this. Here's the link to about as classy and heart-warming a story--hoops or not--as you'll find. You should be very proud of the players, the coaches and the University for this:

I didn't have a great view of it . Cheerleaders were in the way, but I could see some of it. I have to admit I really didn't pay much attention.
