One of Bilas' main objections to the college game is the lack of an offical's czar. Not sure JD is the answer given his and Lickliter's spineless handling of the MAC but at least he has a chance and some power to make a new start and get a handle on the college game. Guess we'll see if they are serious about getting the college physicality under control and cleaning it up to create better flow

if this gets him off the court, i'll take it as good news.

there's a difference between calling a good game and being adept at handling the bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo that i'm sure comes with this job... hopefully JD is a bit more adept at the later than most of thought he was at the former.
