Jeez. Not fun.

Nice editorial note with the "$" sign after the total amount of money. *palmface*

If this expulsion and suspension stick, the Bulls are in big trouble. No Evans, Moss or Johnson along with losing a couple recruits after Bobby left.

You gotta wonder why someone would be part of stealing $650 when they have pro potential that could earn them lots more than that in one year.

At that age, I'd say it's all about the now for almost everybody. When kids see cash lying around, they sometimes don't think about all the consequences. That's where upbringing and personal ethics come into play.

My guess is that he'll be with the team this fall, but maybe won't play until December or January. He gave the money back and, significantly, he has a lawyer. UB won't want to fight this in court. They'll cut a deal where he'll tell everybody he's sorry and sit a few games.

Wasn't Johnson the guy who had multiple on the court violations too, hitting below the belt, etc? I think he's the one that had several techs called and maybe an ejection or two.

Hence the nickname "Raheem 'hit em in the' Johnson".

This is beyond an embarrassment for us. In two years, Hurley turned us into Akron, bolted, then kicked us in the nuts on the way out the door with 3 of our players/recruits.

That's kind of funny. Hey, at least you won.

What do you think of his replacement?

I can't even enjoy this one because UB's bball program has been beat down so many times in the last 5 months. I feel for ya man.

According to Jeff Goodman on Twitter, Justin Moss has been dismissed from the team, and from the University. Wowza. I somehow thought he'd eventually be allowed back.

Maybe if Hurley were still around.

Quote of the month candidate, from the Buffalo message board regarding Moss:

"Why can't we have nice things?"

Think of it this way, if this were Kent State from 5+ years ago, he's probably still on the team.

Plenty of programs would have kept him, particularly since he's very talented. I have respect for Buffalo for not giving him a third chance. It wouldn't surprise me if someone else does.
