Ohio is #215, Zippy #133. Central is highest in the MAC at #85, Kent(?) next at #97.

Incarnate Word? We are lower than Incarnate Word? I don't care about a "mystery." Anyone who knows Tony, Kenny and Jaaron (even though the latter only averaged 2 ppg at Houston) should know that we would absolutely crush Incarnate Word! Come on! What a joke! And Kron will be good but let's not crown them champs just yet. They are banking everything on Forsythe and he was only solid when they had Tree around. Johnson is a hack and Cheatham only plays hard when he feels like it.

really? who cares? does anyone think CBS did anything more than go thru Lindy's for "research?" Does anyone think this will be remembered by anyone 2 months from now?

bruce is right. This means nothing. We just need to remember that the next time we get a nice ranking from something like this. Ignore it.

I think you're taking this a little too seriously.

I agree. Like any other set of rankings, its good only for conversation purposes. I actually thought Ohio being at 215 was generous, only because of last year's record and the number of unproven players. I expect us to be a lot better. I was shocked mostly at the Kent ranking given the departure of three senior guards that were key to their success last year. I'm sure there wasn't much thought put into this past about the top 50.

By definition, they're — literally — God's gift to the world. That's pretty tough to beat.

Quite the long thread given the fact that no one seems to care.
