Pleased to see Kaminski and Simmons on the list. I'm excited about both of them individually but also as a pair - it seems as though Simmons might be the passer at PG that Kaminski needs to excel.

It seems to me that this year's team will share the ball more. I loved Stevie's energy but he took too much time dribbling and playing with the ball up top. I loved Bean's streakiness (he could make it at any moment) but he was a black hole. And Mo was just disinterested last year. He should have dominated the MAC but often was outplayed.

I think Jaaron is the next coming of Armon Bassett and Kaminski is going to not only play outside but be able to play the midrange game. I love the new offense that will incorporate Tony on the outside as well. I look for Block and Gollon and Dartis to each be madness from the outside.

I'll be surprised if he is nearly as much of a scorer as Bassett. I just hope he's able to run the offense and move the ball quickly. I'm also hoping that he is more interested in playing defense than his predecessor.

Tone's ability to knock down a 3... Man, what a welcome addition to our offensive abilities.

I'm not looking forward to the next coming of a b (a thug at best).

Alan, It is probably not necessary to name call a player that has been gone for 3 years

It does seem a little interesting that Alan is the first person to rip people representing Ohio when they don't meet his standards for "class" but will turn around and characterize a young man as a thug.

Armon Bassett had his issues off the court. He also contributed a lot to the Ohio program on the court. We don't make that 2010 run without Armon. That 2010 run set the tone for a very successful era of Ohio basketball.

If I saw Armon tomorrow, I wouldn't call him a thug. I'd thank him for his time wearing the OHIO uniform. I have some fond memories of the 2010 season.

Interesting take. He did usher in a renaissance that may have happened anyway with DJ and the incoming class of athletes. Not arguing that but Armon has continued down that rocky road and Alan may not be far off as AB seems to embrace "the life"

While the coding involving the term thug is often problematic, Armon Bassett is not the hill on which I'm going to choose to fight that battle.
