We have got to find a way to take the pressure off Jaaron in terms of bringing the ball upcourt during a press, keeping him out of a double team, etc. It's obvious FSU is taking a page out of the Tulsa game book.

That being said, our level of "fight" is commendable. We took a punch but punched back. Our defensive rotations and awareness in the half court against an ACC team is better than any effort I saw against MAC opponents last year. It seems to me that most of the 'Noles half court baskets are a result of just being taller and more athletic.

Smart teams will do it all year until we figure out how to handle it. I hope -- and think -- we will get it sorted out before the conference slate begins.

Hopefully during the rest of the non-con schedule we can figure out how to cut down the turnovers and be more composed with the ball... If that happens this group has the depth and "team" mentality to be special.

Watching this tourney has been frustrating in a lot of ways, but the experience should pay off down the road.

I really like the way this squad looks this year, especially when compared to last year. I'm still tempering the results this year, especially until late Jan/Feb, but if these young guys can grow and are "coached up" they could make some noise the next few years. Hope Saul can do it, and I think he will/can. Go Bobcats.

It has had no time together. Ohio has to rate near the very bottom as far as player experience and especially experience together as a group. It will improve on into 2017 where it will still be same team.

Laster, a sophomore that averaged 19 minutes a game as a freshman, is 3rd on the team in Career Minutes. This team is extremely young and extremely inexperienced, BUT, they are talented and learning fast. They are getting better every day and its exciting to watch.

Getting in weight room, good diet, conditioning, working on lateral movement...as this team does this, they will keep getting better.

As I said in another thread, this team better learn to play defense quickly. In the two losses we've given up 90 in each.

Turnovers and poor defenses means lots of losses. This team is a long way from getting back were we were under Groce/Christian. This team has talent, but its very raw. Got to play the young players and get as much experience. I like that we are playing 10-11 guys a game. Time to find out what we got. So far we found a couple guys that can score some buckets.
