Kris Dunn not too far away from quadruple-double for Providence. 22 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 7 steals.

With a play that looked veeeeeeery similar to Armon Bassett's winner over IUPUI (I was there!), the Illini top Chicago State with a buzzer beating three.

Illinois with a 3 at the buzzer to win 82-79. Avoid their first 1-4 start EVER.

rough day for Ohio non-conference opponents as FGCU, Tulsa and Norfolk St all lost. The MAC's only D1 win was BGSU over FGCU.

Western Michigan beat Rochester (MI) 85-73. They were down 45-41 with 15 minutes to go when bench player Kellen McCormick went nuts and scored 19 points over the next 10 minutes. He was 9-11 from three and 11-14 overall for 31 points.

I hope that's a jump start for the rest of their season. They need some kind of boost. Hopefully that kind of comeback win, and getting kids back healthy will do it.

Rochester is NAIA, not D1.
