My night will include enjoying a few - so the downtown parking and higher rates come with that. Independence is where I usually stay - every hotel banner in the country at that I-77/Rockside Road exit.
Mine will too, fortunately the wife barely ever drinks anymore. She will have one all day MAYBE, so I have a ride. We ended up getting the Crowne Plaza down there for $62. It's a little dated but I just need a clean bed.

On the other hand, she wants me to park at the casino and get the parking comped with playing time, which will cost me WAY more than just parking anywhere else in the long run...

If you're looking to go to the game vs Cleveland State, The Q has a Cyber Weekend sale going on at TheQArena.com. Seats are priced as follows (with no additional fees):

Center court: $22
Baselines: $12
Ends: $6

I just bought a pair in 127, row 5 (behind the Ohio bench) for $24. Short of finding a way to get yourself freebies, that's about as good a deal as you will find.

Welp, we finally are getting a big name to come to the Convo. Just saw on the home page, in conjunction with the football team traveling to West Lafayette we get a home-and-home with Purdue in basketball. That's huge news.

"Ohio then hosts its first ever Big 12 opponent at Peden Stadium when Kansas returns its game against the Bobcats on Sept. 16...

...

Also announced was a home and home series with Iowa State which begins in 2022 with the Bobcats traveling to Ames, Iowa on Sept. 17 and a return game with the Cyclones traveling to Athens on Sept. 16, 2023."

Far be it from me to let something like this slide...Did they forget that we hosted Iowa State in 2001? Wouldn't they have noticed that when scheduling the future series with Iowa State?

I hope we can schedule it when the students are on campus.
