I went Xavier-Wright State. X plays four 6'10'' guys and does a great job of denying any action near the paint. They'll even put two bigs on the ball on under out-of-bounds plays which pretty much forces the inbounds pass to be baseball style into the backcourt. It seems so simple, but I've never seen anyone do that before. Wright had a lot of good looks but couldn't hit anything. Might've been more competitive if they had any makers.
It'll be very interesting to see the Shootout with UC on Saturday. I can't remember the last time both teams were very, very good. X by 10.
I'm a UC fan, not an X fan, but I agree with your prognosis. Bearcats are good, but I think X is probably better, especially at Cintas. One thing I can say about UC, is that they have depth, and a lot of it. I think this is, without question, Mick's most talented squad. The two freshman, Jenifer and Evans, are both outstanding. I'm not sure about Xavier other than what I saw versus Dayton, where they were excellent.
