I just bought tics for the Bonnies game. Old barn style gym w/some cool history I could not pass up the opportunity to travel to and support the Cats on the road. Plus - It's a Saturday 4:00 start - staying Friday night Youngstown area - Then time Sat AM/early PM to enjoy the drive through the Allegheny's/Oil City/Titusville area exploring the geography and history of the area en route to Olean/St Boneventure.

I had to buy two tics to get the best seats I could find on their site. Front Row/Mid Court/Across from the benches - perfect wayfaring Ozone/Old Zone territory. I will be making sure the team and staff know there is OHIO support in the house!

Anyone want to join me? The tic is on me.

I'd take you up on it but I'm going to the MLS Cup game on Sunday.

I'm probably 50-50 on hitting that game, but I'd be with my wife. She's frankly more interested in a pregame stop at Southern Tier Brewing, but we enjoy seeing new campuses as well.

Frickin HS gym and piss poor housing choices. We did find a decent place to eat and then endured the 4 OT loss.

Trip is worth it for any hoops junkie as it is fun to see those size 22 shoes by their most famous alum are there in the trophy case right beside the bball signed by OUr own John Rhodes. Growing up watching the Bonnies with interest in the distant past made it worth my (substantial) time.

I like her thought process!

Jordie Dartis' high school coach at Newark was a starter on the St. Bonnie basketball team, circa mid 1990s.

I was planning on driving over for the game as long as the weather held (like it looks like it should), but haven't bought a ticket yet. If you still have the extra ticket I'll use it. I'd even buy it from you. Ha.

Bob Lanier - one of the greats. Do they have them big shoes bronzed like Jerry Lucas' are in Middletown HS trophy case?

You know that from actual experience? Cheddar - even if the best from Somerset/UK - does not really get my salivary glands all that geared up. Now - if it was some high quality artisan mold ripened style I might be interested - the riper and more odiferous the better.......

There's a new micro brewery right in Olean, it's worth a visit. Seven minutes from the Bonnies campus.

Enjoyed the trip - not the game so much. Main comment about Reilly Center - darkest arena I can ever remember - very dimly lit.
