At one point he asked Russ to refer to him as "The Pebbles Champ"

My GF likes to refer to him as the T-1000 for the way he runs. He's from Kentucky, I'll go White Lightning for the Moonshine.

In an thread asking who would be this year's x-factor I gave my vote to Setty with the suggestion that if he hustled like usual and was able to play steady ball for extended minutes the other guys could grow into their roles. So other than White Lightning my nickname is the X-Factor.

bobcat2nc, I like your thoughts on "X-factor" or "white lightning" ! If Treg can bring his much improved game to the practice floor and game nights like he has been doing so far, he will be the X-factor for the reasons you mentioned. He brings that "leadership by example" that our inexperienced group needs as we dive into the MAC. Heading for NIU!

Question about Treg's height: The program last night listed him as 6-9. Was he 6-9 when he transferred here? Has he grown some in Athens? He looks taller now on the court than I remember from his early days here. Maybe he's just "playing taller."

I'm partial to his old instagram handle, tregsaidhegotgame. Treginometry is good. Peebles Champ is good. White Lightning belongs to Chase Cochran and White Chocolate will always be Jason Williams.

That Jason Wms video is incredible.

Treg doing the things that he does at the large size that he is--a real advantage.

Peebles Champ is good. He always looks like he's tripping down a flight of stairs while going to the basket but it usually works out. He knows the angles on how to get a shot off, get around a defender and how to pass. He's solid in a lot of areas.

Well I am 6'8" and when I stand next to him he is definitely my height and I do think just a bit taller so 6'9" not out of the realm of possibility.

Just basing on his previous heights in the program. This is the first year he's shown up at 6'9"

Marginal. If you ever stood close to guys and really looked you would be amazed. My coach used to tell us "don't believe the programs...better to list yourself 6'1 and play 6'4."

Tregatron? Maybe not the flow of Megatron, which is one of the best nicknames in sports. I hate how nicknames have become so unoriginal (take the first initial, start of last name, poof, we have a nickname). I also don't like the recycling of nicknames, ala White Chocolate or White Lightning. Tregonometry is a good one as well.

There are no longer any Colossus of Clout, Splendid Splinter, Night Train, or even Magic-like nicknames. Love the desire to bring some back.

Drove through there today.
