At the other Convo, in Ypsilanti, sparked by a 13-0 run in the 4th quarter, the East favorite Ohio Bobcats (12-3) take down the West favorite EMU Eagles 71-64. Led by by their offensive stars Quiera Lampkins and Kiyanna Black with 20 and 17 points respectively, Ohio, for the first time in history start MAC play with 4 straight victories.

Go OHIO!

Thanks for the post. Some of us need to be reminded to checkout the Lady Cats more often.

Boldon eems to be a helluva coach, possibly our 2nd best after He Who Shall Remain Sacrosanct and Unquestioned.

Boldon may even win a MACC some day over the many coming years if he stays on track.

He did last year.

Great win for the ladies! Eastern beat us last year here and was a handful in Cleveland.

p.s. I should have also noted Jasmine Weatherspoon's 8 blocks set a school record. I grew up up watching Bill Russell play. She's a reminder.

Gents--I'm well aware. You regulars know that I'm a big fan of OHIO and one of the few who's been with the women as they've developed so well since the start of Boldon ball.

My remark may have been to point out a reality to someone else about something else.
