Both guys totally exciting & great for the team but I don't see tons of similarities. JS Seems more like a drive& scorer( or collect fouls), and DJ was more of a disher. Result of bigger/smaller body type perhaps. Funny how the stats don't exactly back that up though and Jarron has more assists. Regardless thrilled we had DJ and now have JS.
Agreed. Thrilled to have both.
JS is a dish first guy. DJ was a score first guy. thru 12 games JS has attempted 102 shots. At the same time in his career, by the 12th game that year DJ had put up 201 shots. I think JG's tempo was faster resulting in more shots but there is not much doubt Deej was going to get shots up. Nice part is JS is not only finding open guys but when he does shoot he is 45% from 2 and 35% from 3. Not a big volume shooter and accurate when he takes a shot.
