1. Ohio shot better from the field than Akron -- 43.9-42.2

2. Both teams each had 32 points in the paint.

3. Wadley only played 3 minutes.

at half time Akron's starting 5 had a combined 11pts on 3-10 shooting from behind the arc and 0-6 inside the arc. They finished 4-17 outside the arc and 3-17 inside.

Game

It was a good effort though. Kron is a well balanced team with a good bench at all positions - and they played tough all 40 minutes.

-Not checking out in key situations leads to easy Akron putbacks.

In the post game interview, Saul said he went with Taylor primarily because of his size to matchup on Isiah Johnson.
