The Vests and Hard Hats is a pretty funny idea. Make it for the leaders in the front. Have the Marketing department supply 10 sets each year to the tops fans going into the year. Themes make it fun and give it buzz around campus. Casual students will pick up on it. Green Fever and Blackout are good, but they need to do other stuff. Camo Night, Halloween in Feb, Hawaiian Shirt/Beach Night.

Let's face it....It's hard to get people interested in basketball alone, and it usually follows team success. Ideas like this can be partially immune to those trends.

Oh yea, and serve beer.
