With the clear understanding the season is still very early. As of today, where would you rank the Bobcats in the MAC?

Trying to be objective I would go something like

Akron
Toledo
Kent
Central Michigan
Ohio

... of course, that's today (11/25/24).

Say you ...

BG might be better than us. And Miami.

Dont think we'll have any clear picture of where we stand until 1/19 @ Akron.

Like I said in another thread, we have 12 exhibition games in which to figure out our identity and our rotation for MAC play. If we go 0-12 that hurts, but the only thing that matters is MAC play and then 3-days in Cleveland.

I'm not sounding an alarm in November.

Torvik has us 2nd in MAC (#145) behind Akron (#126).

KenPom has us 4th in MAC (#178) behind Toledo (152), Akron (132) and Kent St (130).

I think somewhere 2-4 sounds right assuming Reef is healthy.

If he's going to miss significant time more like 4-6 range.

Looking more and more like a good, but unspectacular year in a very down MAC.

Think it's basically impossible to say at this point.

It's pretty wild how bad the MAC looks right now; I mean, what's the best win for the conference so far? Central at George Mason? The whole conference basically has one top 100 win.

Also, seems pretty clear we've had the toughest schedule.
