So...out of curiosity...I've tried for two games now to listen to at least five minutes of the new play-by-play guy on ohiobobcats.com.

Am I the only one who can't find the games on-line at ohiobobcats.com? I click on digital and live events and nothing comes up with a link to click on to find the broadcast. I just tried to see if the Illinois State game is even mentioned and it says no live events scheduled today. And then you click on radio network...and all you get is a picture of Russ and Rob. Last time I checked, Russ is no longer the play-by-play guy.

Ohiobobcats.com is an embarrassment and now you can't listen to games with a link on the website? And the site is truly out of date and looks terrible.

For those who have listened, how is the new guy? He's invisible on social media about the job. One retweet from Ohio's Men's basketball twitter with pre-game notes. I don't know....if I got a job as play-by-play guy with a new school wouldn't you do your best to brand yourself more....especially in year one? Maybe put up clips from the first two games of your work? I know it's only two games, but I don't get not being more of a presence to the fanbase.

I've listened to him on the radio and via the Varsity app.

I've been impressed with Jason Toy so far; very professional and calls a solid game. He and Rob are still finding their rhythm, but I like what I've heard so far.

Glad to hear a good review so far. Any reason why we can't listen to games on ohiobobcats.com?

105.5 came back on the air at 10:25 pm that night with no explanation why it had been off. They may have been adding feed to a station in Gallipolis/Pt Pleasant. I noticed a few weeks ago the existing rock station in that area was not as mainstream as 105.5 and seemed a bit out of place in a town that small.

In the same boat as you, Fear. Tried to listen to the pregame/postgame last Saturday but only got a blank screen in the “Live Events” page. I thought it might be an issue with mobile access but nope, couldn’t get it on the computer either. Ended up streaming 105.5 online before switching to Marty and Dave on ESPN+.

On the bright side, from the little I’ve heard of him I agree that Toy brings a good dose of experience and personality to the booth. However, having literally only followed the team during the Russ era, it’s going to take a while for me to get used to a different “Voice of the Bobcats”!

I listen to the App, in my car, through my car. I listened last night through the App in my living room while watching the BGsU football game. Others here say to use the APP, but that’s ok, me telling you to. Use the APP leaves you defensive.

Just plug in the phone to the car or use ApplePlay or AndroidPlay and boom, you got the game!

So are you listening to the game on 105.5 online? Via an app? As noted by others, via the Ohio app?

I ask because I've experienced frustrations with the Varsity App over time. The games will cut out 10-15 mins in to a listening session. I find it frustrating because the old TuneIn App was solid gold, and this app is OK at best. I love listening to college hoops, but the Varsity App is getting tedious for me because it's not as reliable.

Cannot answer for Greencat, but yes, that is how I listen at home and on the road. Have never had an issue, only deadtime I get is when they go to a station identification break.
