Talk about a disappointing start to the season. It doesn't mean much at this point in time but they certainly aren't playing like a team considered to be the overwhelming preseason MAC favorites.

Said this last year, and still think if getting your shot blocked is a stat, EJ would lead the nation. He just can't get these shots off at this level. Maybe in high school, but not DI hoops.

We aren't having bad shooting numbers. They just can't miss. I doubt they'll have another shooting performance like this all season.

They’re not missing their open looks.
Its good to get tested early as long as they make adjustments and improve when it counts.

Down 7 around the 5 minute mark and AJC misses the front end of 1-and-1. Boser immediately answers with a 3. AJC makes both foul shots and ohio would be down 5. Instead they were down 10. AJC misses shot at the rim on ohio's next possession.

I have said this multiple times. Kids nowadays can shoot the three very very well. If they’re open, they’re gonna knock them down. They’ve been open. Our man defense sucks.

Not to mention, he missed the shot at the rim against someone who is 7 inches shorter

We need to play much better defensively. Gave up way too many open looks. Most teams won't shoot at the level Illinois State did tonight but OU could've won if they executed a little bit better.

Wow, only eight assists. Maybe too much dribbling on offense?

I hope boals is figuring out which eight guys he’s gonna play with when mid-American conference play comes around because there’s just no rhythm with all the substitutes we make.
