Interesting story: I believe (shy of the Utah State interview) any of the top coaches in the MAC - Boals, Groce, TK, Senderoff - could probably say much the same thing, in some form or fashion, at this point in the off-season.

Yes, UT has had some NBA and high major transfers. Others have had more NCAA Tournament appearances. In the end, the transfer portal for the successful programs is more about fit as much as talent.

What good is talent if it does not fit your style of play. For the most part the successful MAC coaches including Boals have done a pretty good job with portal 'fit.'

IMO ... so we'll see what it all looks like by next January/February.
