Stay with me here:

Campbell - He's the ace. He's the #1 go-to-guy, no doubt about it, money in the bank player you always want.

Simmons - He's the closer. When the game gets tight, go to your man with the best finishing moves. I can't believe how much he excels in crunch time when it truly matters.

Block - He's the utility player. Doesn't matter where he is, he's making the right play and he's busting ass doing it.

Laster - He's the pinch runner/hitter. He's instant energy and provides big sparks off the bench.

Setty - He's the catcher. He'll use his bat (offense) or throw a guy out (defense) to pull the team together. He's a guy you can look to for answers.

Dartis - He's the everyday hitter who gets you a .350 avg and blasts the occasional home run when you really need. He's consistent and that's what the team needs.

Kaminski - He's the power. You need a big shot to left field? He's got you covered. Bombs away.

Man this team is really fun to watch. They make the "extra pass" more than any team I've seen in a while. And it leads to easy, easy buckets.

Cool analogy... Really such fun to watch as this season has evolved.

I love a good baseball analogy. And Saul Phillips is Joe Maddon - The player's manager that keeps it fun while getting the most out of his players.
