Anyone else totally nauseous from Ohio-Miami webcast? Camera zoomed in way too far and crazy camera whips to follow ball are terrible. ESPN3 needs to get Ohio hooked up with equipment to start real broadcasts. This is a joke.

this webcast is no different than every one from the past 10yrs.

The delay in upgrading to ESPN is not because of ESPN, its because of Ohio.

We've had others in the past that were far worse. The feed used to buffer a dozen or so times a game or just crash altogether. I think the problem today was a new cameraperson who is probably a student in the RTV school or someone who was just playing around. Someone finally got the word to him/her that it's a one-camera operation and you can't work it like you're one of five or six. The first four minutes of video really sucked but the last 36 were ok. A little tight but ok.

Good synopsis. THe first half shenanigans were like someone who was shooting a baseball game and getting close in on the hitter and pitcher but applying their experience to a hoops game. Silly and stupid and really amateur for a school that turns out broadcast folk. Amazing that no one from the dept monitors this in real time. Happy we recovered and only had to deal with pixillation and bandwidth issues the rest of the game that have not been really the norm this year.
