Seriously, at 6-20, the bottom has dropped out at Bryant. I know that they're new to D-1, but they are regressing.

The question remains, who is most likely to get the ax first? Groce, Christian or OShea?

Perhaps, we'll see JC to Bryant and TOS back to BC as an assistant. Stranger things have happened.

A bit surprised no one has suggested TOS to SCOTUS yet.

Dream on, Tim's agent found a bigger push over than Tom Boeh when it comes to contracts. His first was an 8 year guaranteed, then he had an extension after his landmark post season run (CIT game) that pushes his contract out to 2020. Few coaches in the past 20 years has had the job security this man has enjoyed.

Contracts don't guarantee a job, even at Bryant. If he keeps going downhill, they'll just find him a job in their marketing department.

With their budget, I'd imagine they are in worse shape than us as far as revenue, he'd be owed a chunk of change for them to pay him while paying the new guy.

To be fair to the guy, they've had some pretty good years for being relatively new to DI. Don't pretend to know why this year is so bad, but I imagine they can dig out of it in a league with lots of parity.

Looked at the NEC standings and was surprised to see Robert Morris and LIU (the usual powers) towards the bottom. Seems to be a weird year for that league.

Three winning seasons in 8 years, all three in a row, all three with transfers, hasn't been able to keep that going with an upto date record of 76-159 for a winning % of .323 in 8 years. Monroe wouldn't be the only one on this board calling for a head with that run.

I wish Coach O'Shea well, but I would have to think that he realizes what a charmed coaching life he has led. I would imagine that there are lots of up and coming high school and Division III college coaches eking out a living, hoping and praying that they get a fraction of the breaks that Coach O'Shea has received, not to mention the steady paycheck he has received.

Apart from anything else (and I don't have the close knowledge of TOS that many of you have), he gave us one very memorable, special moment that will always live:

"OHIO, OHIO AND OHIO!"

There is a big difference between Bryant University and Ohio University.

I have "TOS to" fatigue.

How long can it go on?

I promise to never start another thread like this. I just think that it's appropriate that TOS can't do better in his dream job. I'm out.

That's a 10 game slide now, with a good chance today with Mt St Mary at home. Was a 2OT loss earlier in the year.

awwww....

I think it's a given what it means in this fanbase. Shorthand for job openings. I'm fine with it ad infinitum. I know what it means and I can choose to skip the thread or open it. I don't have to open a thread with a cryptic title that some smarty pants has tried to pique my interest.

I side with the "it's getting old..." side but don't feel strongly about it. His departure was nearly a decade ago.

It's so old that it's become a classic. We all know what it means, and it's kind of our own internal code language. Common corporate lingo helps build a sense of community.

Fixed that for you. Keep TOS to somewhere going. TOS to Monroe?

You mean you don't need or want an ignore button for TOS to threads?
