Kent up 7 at the half. Miami up 5 in an ugly game. EMU taking it to Toledo early in front of a surprisingly good crowd.

Miami is heading to Cleveland. That game was hideous for both teams, but a truly terrible way to end what had been a turnaround season for BallS.

Other than Akron and maybe us - you could throw a blanket over the next 10 teams and maybe all 12 for that matter.

Miami and Bowling Green advance. Shows just how valuable having that bye is.

There are actually students at the Eastern Michigan game and it looks like the Eagles are going to beat Toledo.

EMU, Miami & BG punch their tickets for Cleveland and the MAC can just see those attendance numbers skyrocketing!

Ohio's win against Miami is looking more and more impressive. Miami is arguably the hottest team in the MAC right now.

You can tell by what they are wearing. Don't get me wrong it's great they showed up and they are cheering. But if they were there for the sole reason to support the team they would be wearing EMU Eagles and not their fraternity and sorority letters.

Let me mention for 1,000th time this year how much I love ESPN 3!

They mentioned during the broadcast that there was a promotion tonight that allowed students to get in free....

Let's hope whomever makes through the WMU-NIU matchup plays the way they are playing now on Thursday. I thought the Miami-Ball State game was ugly but this is worse.

Wilder sat out the entire 2nd half for WMU. Maric sat out the entire game for NIU.

I ended up going to the Kent/BG game last night. I felt like I was watching Ohio play BG. Layup after layup. The end was entertaining but brutal. Both teams missed bunnies and tons of FTs. I know some on here believe Tony has been disengaged some games, but that seemed to be the perfect word for Jimmy Hall last night (6 pts on 2-10 from the field, 4 reb, 4 TOs in 33 minutes). Quite a few of the layups were by his man (Parker) beating him back down court. I was hoping for an Akron/Kent/Ohio/Buffalo Semi-finals to really fill the Q.

The winning teams last night were pretty much the worst-case scenario for Thursday attendance, but there's still hope for a good Friday showing if the higher seeds prevail.

Do Toledo fans travel to Cleveland well? We played them in 2012 in the quarters. Does anyone remember what their fan contingent was like?

When Miami had a halfway decent team not that long ago, I thought they brought decent numbers to the Q. I definitely think that was a better outcome for attendance than Ball State winning.

When the team is good, Toledo fans show up reasonably well. Anything is better than EMU.

Not to be too glib, but when did Miami have a halfway decent team in the not too distant past? The last five years or so, you could practically count their fans during timeouts.

I want to say they brought decent numbers in 2010. 2011 is the last time I looked at them as a threatening program.
