I'd much rather have played in something like this new one in Vegas, the games will be played in Mandalay Bay. They were going to have 16 teams in it but will only have 8 in its inaugural year.

Looks more like the Vegas 8.

That actually looks like a pretty good field. Hopefully Maric has healed sufficiently so he'll be a factor.

Pretty nice group with some stars. I like the format, the dates-late March, and the location. Would have been fun to be I that tourney.

That IS a good field! I would think that winning this tournament, even if it only has 8 teams, carries more cache than winning the CBI.

That being said, at least in the CBI Ohio gets an additional home game or two, which probably means more to the players.

It's a much better field of teams and it's also a trip to Vegas for the players. Sort of like a bowl trip in football. I like it. Better idea and platform than the CIT and CBI in my opinion,

I'm betting that this tournament with its location and limited field quickly becomes the 2nd tournament after the NCAA...espec if the latter doesn't go to 128.

From what Coach Saul was saying they didn't want to be in this tourney due to the full week away from Athens and the disruption to classes it would be for the team. Also I like how in the CBI compared to the CIT, after you have paid for 2 home games you no longer have to pay to host, you just give the CBI the ticket revenue.

They just need to keep all the players away from Johny Manziel.
