I just looked at the women's bracket and noticed they get the winner of BG and Buffalo in the quarters. You know what I'm thinking and that would be unthinkable.

Let's hope BG takes care of the Bulls!

I would hope BG does, but I would love for the girls to finally take down Buffalo so there isn't any, "You never beat Buffalo" talk. Ohio can beat Buffalo, and they should've at home. Then again, BG would be what most people would prefer considering the last two outcomes vs. the Bulls.

The Bobcats tip at noon today!!! Ohio need to somehow jump on Buffalo early. KB needs to stay out of foul trouble and hopefully she is filling it up. I am looking forward to a double header on Friday if both my teams cooperate

I'd like to think there's no way the ladies will shoot it as poorly as they did the last two games against Buffalo, but I said the same thing after the first game and they did it again. I don't have the most confident feeling going into this one.

After two times, it makes you wonder if there is something about the way Buffalo matches up, but when you look at Buffalo's other results, they seem pretty mediocre. If Ohio can play its game, it will win easy, but for whatever reason, the Bulls have been able to keep the Bobcats from doing that.

There is no doubt that we don't match well with the Buffs. Hopefully our kids can get fired up and be in the right frame of mind to come out and play well !

If the comment noted earlier is accurate and the team is motivated for this game then I feel pretty confident.
It's very hard for any team to beat the same team 3 times in the same season.

It actually is a big misconception that it's hard to beat the same team three times in a season. That's a myth that was perpetuated during the NFL playoffs when facing a division rival. Even then, it was more than 60% of the team the team that won the first two would win the third. I will say though, it seems it would be very difficult to beat a team three times in a season when the team that won the first two is significantly worse than the team they beat, which rings true in this case.

Right. If one team is clearly better than the other, then it's not that hard for them to beat an opponent three times. If teams are pretty even, then of course it's difficult. But it's no more difficult the third time than the first time.

I think matchups are the key here, as Buffalo is not full of great basketball players, but they are long and athletic, and they are able to guard the rim and alter a ton of shots, which gives our slashers big problems.

It's over now, we are rushed now with the click at almost 2 minutes and still not able to hit big shots. And the Buffs keep making shots on their trips.
