Going back a tad further in time - to 1964 - I wonder if there was a Vegas line on Ohio vs #4 Kentucky?

In a Sweet 16 game, Ohio got off to a quick lead and never let up, topping the Wildcats 85-69.

Did Vegas exist? Guaranteed there was a line.

I'm a little surprised Northern Iowa over Kansas wasn't on there. Was that not as big of an upset (seed wise) as I remember?

9 over a 1 in the second round, but it was also the #1 overall seed that year (Kansas):

Who could forget that dagger 3 by Farokhmanesh.

The fact that we dropped 97 on them is still a number hard to grasp. We were really clicking... And the steal by Cooper/fastbreak/no-look oop to Devo was the type of flashy play you expect to see from the favorite... Not the 14 seed.

I like it but my Napoleon complex issues make me bristle a bit at any insinuation that it was fluky or undeserved. That was a beat down.

I listened to this game on WHAS radio as it was not televised locally, and I remember legendary Kentucky play-by-play man, Cawood Ledford, at the end of the game thought it was the biggest upset in the history of basketball. With about two minutes left in the game he nearly fell out his chair when Coach Snyder put in the subs and it was clear OHIO was going to win. [Remember no shot clock and no three-point shots back then, so games were conceded a little earlier than they are today.] I will say that, as usual, Ledford was a real gentleman and gave OHIO credit for playing a great game. The elephant in the room was that OHIO's integrated team was playing UK's lily white team. This was not mentioned in the broadcast, but everyone knew that was a factor. It wasn't until about five years after this defeat that Rupp finally recruited his first black player.

i can't think of a team we matched up worse on paper with than that Georgetown team. I was legitimately flabbergasted by that performance.

Wow, 85 points pre 3-point line seems very high.
