I'm talking 13 seed or lower getting a win.

Give me Stephen F Austin over WVU.

I was so ready to pick a 16 over a 1 for the first time ever, but with schools like Southern, Austin Peay, and Holy Cross rallying late, I'm afraid I'm not bold enough to pick it this year.

Give me the Rainbows of Hawaii over Cal.

I'm so tempted to take the Farleigh Dickinson/FGCU winner over UNC.

UNC's playing in Raleigh, so I'm thinking at a minimum the Sweet 16 for UNC. They won't lose in their own backyard.

UNC-Wilmington takes down Duke. Smaller upset VCU obliterates Oregon State.

That is true! It would be quite an upset.

I am busting an all Texas Bracket... Northern Iowa over UT and Green Bay over Tech / with the Panthers advancing to the Sweet 16.

...and just to keep it totally stupid... Chatt over Indiana - and that's IT! I'm on an "upset diet" thus year.

EDIT- Longhorns not Aggies.

Chattanooga over Indiana is a hot pick. Hoosiers could look ahead to UK in the 2nd round and blow it.

I love the line on this one at 10.5. You know Wilmington is going to throw everything they can at Duke.

I like Hawaii for the straight up upset.

I'll take Cal in the Sweet 16. I like Wilmington much more vs Duke.

First Round:
Zags over Seton Hall? Arkansas-Little Rock over Purdue? Wichita State (assuming they win) over 'Zona?

Second Round:
Wisconsin over X? Butler/T-Tech winner over UVA?

Hmmm, I'll take either Green Bay over A&M or Iona over Iowa State. And...gulp... Buffalo has the athleticism to stay with a consistent, but not spectacular Miami team methinks.

It's another 12 over a 5, but give me Chattanooga over Indiana, just to screw up the Indiana-Kentucky second-round matchup the NCAA probably has penciled in for a prime TV slot on the weekend.

I also like Buffalo. It's about time another MAC team besides Ohio finally won an NCAA game, and they have guys who will benefit from having played in a very competitive tourney game vs WVU last year.

I like me some South Dakota St Jackrabbits over Maryland Turtles (although it's a classic 12/5 - I think it still qualifies here because Maryland probably "should" have been a 4 seed IMO).

Gonzaga over Seton Hall is the easiest one for the 1st round. Not sure that even qualifies but it is a 11 over 6. Otherwise I'll go with Yale over Baylor.

I like Oregon to lose in the 2nd round.

And I like Purdue to beat Virginia in the 3rd round.

Speaking of double digit seeds, did anybody watch the Wichita State-Vandy game last night. I have a serious basketball crush on Fred VanVleet. The Shockers could do some damage if they hit their shots.

Co-sign. If anyone is still doubting the merits of small-ball, I hope they watched that game. They looked like midgets against Vandy's two seven-footers.

Speaking of 12-5's, I was just reading an article that said that 12 seeds not only pull off upsets in the first round they are an impressive 20-24 in the round of 32. (20-23 when they aren't playing Ohio in the round of 32.)
