Call the foul strategy whatever you want that was a HUGE 3 by Hamilton with it all on the line. Epitome of the thrill of victory the agony of defeat.

Yes, no doubt, a huge three, but Akron made it the last shot of the game by committing the stupid foul. Yes they had fouls to give, but you don't take one there with :11 difference between game and shot clock at the very end of the game. They took their chance at the last shot of the game and threw it away and basically told Buffalo here you go, you take it.

He said he didn't want a foul there. The players knew they had fouls to give but Jackson picked the wrong spot to do it. I think they had one more to give so they probably should have fouled again to make Buffalo come up with another play.

Lot of whining on how fortunate Buffalo was to win but Akron lead for 1:43. So they have no complaints at all. The late offensive foul on Bearden was a terrible call. Big Dog had a bad turnover late when he should have gone to the basket. Akron has nothing to whine about.

If that is the case then he obviously didn't do a very good job explaining the situation to his players.

SPectacular defensive breakdown by Akron was the most shocking thing. I yelled about it then had to back it up and show my wife frame by frame what I was talking about. On ball defender starts to the basket while defender on Hamilton and defender on the big man both move to help out as on ball does not take away the left hand drive to the middle. As they all 3 collapse Hamilton down on the block sprints out to the arc. As the dribbler see the collapse he kicks to the top of the key and wisely passes up a quick shot passing over to Hamilton who has enough space and time to get the pass and calmly shoot before the original on ball defender can recover. The 3 defenders in the lane clustered up off the original drive was one of the worst defensive errors I can remember an Akron team EVER making.

The new wife is getting quite an education in breaking down film this last year. Kind of frustrating as she is one of those fans that can't take her eyes off the ball....but trying to be a great husband and using technology I may get her trained before one of us dies...or kills the other LOL. What a lucky man I am to have a mate to share a love of Hooops

She should have taken a redshirt.
