Anyone know if this would be on DirecTv?
ESPN has been putting the MAC games on TWC sports on their ESPN college extra channels (Channels 788-798). No games are listed yet for Thursday, but I'd expect they will pick them up. If they have it, you just need to subscribe to the "DirecTV Sports Package", which is around $13/month. You can cancel it after the tournament and I'm pretty sure just pay a prorated amount for the few days you had it on (so probably $2-3). At least they used to do that. Worse case scenario would be that they charge you for one full month.

Eastern and Central are the same way. Ball State won only 1 game against the eastern division, and I think they only lost 1 against the west.

Ohio will cruise past NIU. It'll be a cake walk. Thankfully BG is on the other side of the bracket for this round as that's the only team that played in the first round that could beat Ohio.

2 seed playing a 20 win team sure doesn't feel normal.
Yeah, in the Quarterfinals! I thought the exact same thing.

Let's consider that 4 of those wins are against sub D1 opponents. I like the match up for OUr team assuming the D is solid, and assuming the effort is made to get Tony involved early on to get him on a roll.

I do like the matchup but I wouldn't say cruise. Ohio will have to battle but I just think the Bobcat are better not to mention NIU just has trouble away from Dekalb. It would be nice to see KK catch fire again. He had just started clicking until the game at Buffalo before suffering the concussion. Its been a struggle since then.

I'm picking my daughter up from class at 1:30 in Athens on Thursday and hustling to Cleveland! Hopefully we wont return until late Saturday night!

I like Central, Kent, Kron, BGSU all in the opposite bracket but I am scared about Northern. I feel like we need to come out hot and keep the pressure on them throughout. KK has to rely on his Michigan State experience in the postseason and Jaaron will always give max effort. I love Big Tone's experience and the innocence of Jordy.

We have one thing no other team has this year.. We played Cleveland State @ the Q in early Dec, maybe a plus with court familiarity? . .. And hopefully lots of green in the stands. Any Ohio student bus availability? We usually represent in Cleveland . Let's GO BOBCATS !!

I expect this to be a pretty close game. We won by 11 at the Convo but as I recall we had close to a 30-pt lead and it was whittled down to single digits. They played really tight D for nearly all the second half, and I expect we'll see more of that. I think we'll win because we have so many weapons but it won't be a laugher.

The condition of their center, Maric, could be the key in this game. It is hard for me to believe that he will be 100% if he was still wearing a boot at Monday's game.
If we rebound well, keep turnovers to a minimum, and get Tony involved early and often we should have an excellent chance for a W.

Three of the four teams that advanced on Monday were getting points. Northern beat us handily up there and nearly beat us in Athens. They led with just over 3 minutes to go after erasing an 18 point deficit. They've done a good job in getting Tony in foul trouble. He's averaged 20 min, 8.0 pt, 5.0 reb in the two contests this year. I hope you are correct.

MAC Quarterfinals are now showing on DirecTV 788 tomorrow. Just need the Sports Package to watch or find a sports bar that has it.

If Maric is healthy and Baker plays like he did early on in MAC play, then this is shaping up to be a tough one.

I definitely expect a win.

It was more than whittled. NIU led at the under 4 timeout, but only scored one FG from that point forward. Strange thing, both games ended 80-69.

Then I predict Ohio by 11--80-69

Nothing's guaranteed, that's for sure. Ask the women, who just lost in the Quarters as the No.1 seed. Ohio needs to keep its eye on the prize as NIU will be a tough out. This game has me very nervous!!

Don't see this game as a sure win, that's for sure. I think we *can* win it, but it'll be a battle. We've got to play good team ball, have good ball movement, and box out better than we did against Akron. But, I'm hopeful our guys will pull it out. GO OHIO!

I definitely think Ohio can win this game too! To me it's just not a gimme. I think the teams are even; to me it's a "pick 'em" game that can go either way.

Hopefully these young Bobcats are jacked to play!!! GO CATS!!!

According to the high IQ Akron fans sitting behind us, we play BG at 2:30. So I hope someone gets word to our guys quickly. They'll have to scramble to get over here.
