Tony Campbell led the team in scoring with a 17.1 ppg average. Who do you think was the last Bobcat player to lead the team with a HIGHER scoring average?

Without looking it up I'm voting Tilly, simply because I can't remember anyone else on that team who would have been a really legit scoring threat all the time.

Without looking it up, I'm guessing Tillman averaged somewhere around 18 and 9 that year. IIRC, He and Leon almost average double-doubles each the year before. Oh, the lack of a good PG after Jeremy Fears. If only Mike Allen came to Athens one year sooner.

I guessed Bassett. Looked it up, and without rounding to two places, he and Campbell both had 17.1. Higher, would be Tillman at 17.7.

I went back and looked it up and this sort of question would start a fight in a bar. Bassett - 17.091 and Campbell 17.086 so Bassett would technically be the answer as far as last player to have more than Campbell. Great question.

Yep. Bassett had a HUGE second half of that season.

It's all in the way the question is put. Since the question rounded Campbell's up to 17.1, Bassett's also would be rounded up and they would be even.

Sorry. It's the lawyer in me.

It was from a home game. Akron I think.
