For those that will be returning I understand that at NDSU SP ran a very difficult off season program after his first season and each off-season thereafter. After that conditioning series he had a great second season at NDSU. I heard what SP said on the radio about developing better conditioning, footspeed, working hard on defense and establishing new offenses. So watching these kids work through their off-season program during the next few weeks and the summer program will be very interesting.

Seems to me this confirms what many of us saw with our "eye test". Even for the MAC this team needs to get a lot more athletic to make the run all the way to the Championship. The pieces are there. The question is: How much better can they get?
