Anybody hearing any rumbles about anyone leaving? On average there's 1 or so leaving each D-1 program, although that is skewed by coaching changes.

I'd hate to see anyone speculate much given that the one who left this past year caught most people off guard.

Bobcatblitz is usually on top of stuff like this. The only ones I could see leaving would be Laster, Wadley, or Harley.

Interesting that we could've really used our lone transfer from last year. We never really had a back up guard all year? Block seemed to play 3 more, and Laster didn't get that much time.

I don't see Wadley leaving with 1 year to go.

I think Laster and Harley look to have important roles - and with 2 years left I would think this is a good place to be - if you want to be part of a winning program with a lot of upside.

Dozier - I have no real feel for what to expect.

I wrestle with this after every season, thinking about whether young players who haven't produced at a high level should stay or leave. Naturally, we'd like to have more scholarships to offer, looking to bring in a couple of players we hope will have an immediate impact. But part of building a program, especially on the mid-major level, is having the patience to let your younger players develop. There have been many players in the program, Treg Setty and Kenneth van Kempen immediately come to mind, who made significant contributions as seniors. What you don't want to see are players you've already went through growing pains with transfer and have big seasons at other schools.

Of these names, since we're speculating, I thought it possible that Harley and Wadley might only for health reasons, and then maybe distance from home. Ellis redshirted, and I think will play a significant role in years to come, especially after KK and Tone graduate.

I just commented on this on another thread. Oopps. Can't be a good look for Thad's program that two kids leave inside of a year from the same freshmen class.
