UNI would have done a lot better just to put everybody on the other side of half court and just throw the ball up for grabs. Get the ball away from your basket.

This finish will live in infamy.
I was thinking the same thing.

Sidebar:

I still love the NCAA tournament, but ever since 2012 it's been a somewhat painful experience to watch. Ohio got a taste of truly being on the biggest stage with those 2010 and 2012 runs. We now know what we're missing every time we don't get back.

Advancing in the NCAA tournament is kinda like a drug in that sense.
Agreed. I can taste it from here. I want more.

Although not on the grand stage, this game reminded me of Ohio's 1991 win at Kent. Ohio was down 9 under the minute mark, Chad Estis and Rush Floyd led the Bobcats back with steals and 3's to score 10 points and win in regulation. Kent State students had already headed out of the arena and the TV announcer commented "Boy, won't they be surprised when they get back to their dorm."

LeBron said he'd quit basketball if a team he played on experienced such a meltdown.

What a classless statement. I bet he wouldn't have said that if the team in question was Akron and his beloved high school coach.
